Rheinmuenster, Germany, October 4, 2011 – In response to growing demand in the UK market, Objet GmbH, the subsidiary of Objet Ltd., the innovation leader in 3D printing for rapid prototyping and additive manufacturing, announced today that UK distributor Tri-Tech Engineering will now sell its full range of Objet 3D printers, including the Objet Connex product line.
Andy Middleton, General Manager for Objet Europe, comments, “Tri-Tech has been a successful distributor for Objet for nearly a year selling our desktop printers. With the expected increase in market demand for our unique multi-material Connex technology – particularly with the introduction of the new compact and attractively priced Objet260 Connex – it is a natural progression for us to extend Tri-Tech’s representation to include our high-end product portfolio.”
The addition of the Objet Eden and Connex 3D printing systems will open up a whole new area of business for Tri-Tech.
Paul Webber, Tri-Tech Director, states his belief – “We firmly believe that the Objet brand offers customers a greater quality of models and range of materials than any other 3D printer manufacturer. Offering best-in-class, high-quality and cost-effective 3D printing solutions and services will help our customers to perfect their designs, optimize their product development process and improve time to market.”
Webber concludes, “Our close working relationship with Objet continues to go from strength to strength, putting Tri-Tech in a unique position to offer its clients a complete package for 3D printers, 3D software, modelling materials, customer support and repairs. Both existing and new customers alike can be confident that Tri-Tech is a company they can grow and develop with, and we will continue to work hard to offer the very best 3D printing solutions available today.”
