Objet Showcases Latest 3D Printing Systems at Automotive Manufacturing Expo, Thailand

Showcasing the world's only multi-material 3D printing system and also
the latest desktop 3D printers

Bangkok, Thailand – June 17 2011 - Objet Geometries Asia Pacific Ltd., a subsidiary of Objet Geometries Ltd., an innovation leader in 3D printing for rapid prototyping and additive manufacturing, will showcase the world’s only multi-material 3D printing system – Objet Connex350 - and its latest affordable desktop printers – Objet24/30 - at the Automotive Manufacturing Expo 2011. The event will be held at Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) on June 23 – 26, 2011.  Objet’s partners – Ad-Pro Tech Co. Ltd. (Hall 103, Booth No. R34) and Solid System Co. Ltd. (Hall 103, Booth No. R27) – will both be participating at the Expo. A seminar will also be hosted on Thursday, June 23 (2:00pm – 3:00pm), presenting “A Leap in Material Capabilities & Objet Connex Family.”

Objet Connex350 is a 3D printing system that can simultaneously jet 2 materials offering the completely unique ability to print parts and assemblies made of multiple model materials, with different mechanical or physical properties, all in a single build. The Objet Connex multi-material 3D printing systems are programmed to use Objet’s range of 65 printing materials, including 51 composite, Digital Material combinations. Objet’s materials provide users with a wide range of mechanical, thermal and physical  properties from rigid (Objet Vero family) to rubber (Objet Tango family) to clear transparency  (Objet VeroClear) and ABS-grade engineering plastics (Objet RGD5160-DM).

Objet30 desktop 3D printer, on the other hand, is the only office-friendly desktop system capable of printing high-quality, finely detailed models in a range of different materials and material properties, ensuring exceptional accuracy and ease of use; thus, bringing affordable 3D printing solution in-house.

Objet family of 3D printers use patented inkjet-based technology to jet ultra-thin layers of photopolymer materials onto the build tray where each layer is cured with UV light. The process delivers models which can be handled immediately, with exceptional accuracy and allowing also complex geometry, including thin walls, overhangs and even moveable parts.

Automotive Manufacturing 2011 is considered as an exclusive industrial community where auto-parts makers and related industrialists congregate, attracting a significant number of regional industrialists who seek for solutions that help to accelerate productivity.

About Objet Geometries
Objet Geometries Ltd., the innovation leader in 3D printing for rapid prototyping and additive manufacturing, provides 3-dimensional printing systems that enable manufacturers and industrial designers to reduce cost of product development and dramatically shorten time-to-market of new products.

Objet’s ultra-thin-layer, high-resolution 3-dimensional printing systems and materials utilize PolyJet polymer jetting technology, to print ultra-thin 16-micron layers. The market-proven Objet Eden line of 3D Printing Systems and the Objet Alaris30 3D desktop printer are based on Objet’s patented office-friendly PolyJet Technology. The Objet Connex multi-material family is based on Objet’s PolyJet Matrix Technology, which jets multiple model materials simultaneously and creates composite Digital Materials on the fly. All Objet systems use Objet’s FullCure® materials to create accurate, clean, smooth, and highly detailed 3D parts.

Objet systems are in use by customers worldwide, including Fortune 100 companies, in multiple industries such as Education, Medical / Medical Devices & Dental, Consumer Electronics, Automotive, toys, consumer goods, and footwear industries.

Founded in 1998, Objet serves its growing global customer base through offices in USA, Mexico, Europe, Japan, China and Hong Kong, and a global network of distribution partners.
