August 1, 2006 - Objet Geometries Ltd., the world leader in ultra-thin layer photopolymer jetting, today announced it will assume direct responsibility for North American sales and support starting January 1, 2007.  Accordingly, Objet will discontinue the relationship with its current North American distributor, Stratasys.

“Objet experienced exceptional growth globally, deploying over 700 Eden PolyJet systems. Accordingly, we have decided to pursue growth through our own organization in North America”, said Adina Shorr, CEO of Objet Geometries. “We are focusing our commitment to our North American customers by expanding our market presence. We look forward to working directly and closely with our loyal customer base in North America”.

Objet will start selling and supplying new systems and resin on January 1, 2007, until that date Stratasys will continue to distribute Objet’s Eden PolyJet products. In order to ensure a smooth transition, Objet will take responsibility for customer support for the current Eden installed base in North America on September 1, 2007. Frank Marangell, the newly appointed President to Objet America will oversee the transition process.
