Rehovot, Israel – 30 May 2006, Objet Geometries Ltd., the world leader in ultra-thin layer photopolymer jetting, has been awarded the ISO 9001-2000 certification. This certification is recognized by the IQnet international institution (International Quality net), based in Switzerland.
While working to become ISO 9001-2000 certified, the company underwent a very meticulous process aimed at improving quality control procedures. After carrying out a preliminary survey, the company instituted a program that, initially, consisted of carrying out internal quality inspections, training sessions for all personnel in the organization, the establishment of a steering committee for each group, formulating and assimilating regulations and establishing procedures, which resulted in it being awarded with ISO certification.
Objet's CEO, Adina Shorr, stated: "Objet embarked on this process of its own initiative, we were interested in improving the quality of our procedures, and becoming ISO 9001-2000 certified is only the first step in this direction. Our goal is constant improvement; these new procedures will encompass all the activities of Objet throughout the world.”
