3D prototyping takes virtual designs from modeling software and transforms them into 3d models in physical space. It is a “what you see is what you get” process where the virtual model and the physical model correspond almost exactly.

3D Prototyping uses the latest 3D printing technologies to assist designers and manufacturers, providing solid 3D models so they can touch and feel their designs, and revisions. 3D prototyping aids in reducing time-to-market.

2008 RadTech USA Emerging Technologies Award
	Objet Geometries Ltd. the innovation leader in 3-D printing technology, today announced that its revolutionary Connex500™ rapid prototyping system has been recognized with the 2008 RadTech USA Emerging Technologies Award, which honors outstanding users of ultraviolet (UV) and electron beam (EB) technologies.
